exploring fort langley
My mom and I regularly make time for 'mother-daughter dates'. Especially since I moved away from home, I have always really looked forward to them. One of the best things about entering your 20's is becoming friends with your parents. I am so grateful for the relationship I have with my family.
On our most recent mother-daughter date, my mom and I decided to explore the historic and gorgeous town of Fort Langley. Nestled about 45 minutes to an hour outside of Vancouver, the once fur trade post for the Hudson's Bay Company is now an adorable village community with many shopping highlights.
Our day began at Little White House & Co. The shop is filled with home decor, living essentials, clothes and more but my favourite part of Little White House is by far their Salon Cafe. Mom and I enjoyed the most amazing high tea we have ever had. We then spent the rest of the afternoon exploring the main street of Fort Langely, picked up a few handy things for Christmas and I even grabbed some necessities for my upcoming Holiday Open House. Enjoy the photos below and be warned: they will make you want to start the car to explore the community yourself.
I shared the whole day over on Snapchat. Give me a follow at inasequoia!
