Hi. I'm Megan.

Within the short period of two-weeks, I uprooted my comfortable Vancouver life and moved to Toronto. Now you find me working in Public Relations for a non-profit supporting young entrepreneurs as I set my sights on building my own creative empire.

In A Sequoia is for those who own being the boss of their life. A source of inspiration for creating intention. Unapologetic vulnerability. Live #thesequoialife.

Raw honesty here: I'm trying something new, and I'm a little scared of it. But that's why I'm going to do it.

I'm going to start blogging about fashion. I think plus-sized fashion is an interesting area to explore, especially with the perspective of someone with an ED. But it's going to mean I'll be posting more photos of myself. Plus, I don't know much about fashion. And that's why I'm uncomfortable about the idea.

So be patient with me as I figure this new area of the blog out. I know I need to figure out the art of posing along with the art of putting together an outfit. It will be an experience for sure.

As you know, I took a trip to Osoyoos for some good wine and some R&R. I was looking for fun, flattering and comfortable clothes to lounge in the suite with and also travel from winery to winery. I love this Aztec poncho from Forever 21 Plus. It's comfortable and flowy - two of my favourite clothing features.

A big win for me while in Osoyoos was picking up a simple moonstone ring. I had been hunting for the perfect cut for two years now, and I stumbled upon it in this random shop on Main Street. Very fitting as the moonstone is known as the traveler's stone. It also acts as a support stone and helps the user explore emotions. It will be hard to take this ring off my finger.
