Hi. I'm Megan.

Within the short period of two-weeks, I uprooted my comfortable Vancouver life and moved to Toronto. Now you find me working in Public Relations for a non-profit supporting young entrepreneurs as I set my sights on building my own creative empire.

In A Sequoia is for those who own being the boss of their life. A source of inspiration for creating intention. Unapologetic vulnerability. Live #thesequoialife.

diner en blanc

diner en blanc

One night a year, thousands of people gather at a secret location decked out in their best whites to enjoy an evening of socializing, dancing, and picnic-ing. Diner en Blanc is an incredible evening I've always dreamed of attending - and this year I made that dream come true!

Fellow blogger and friend Stefania (of The Something New - which is changing soon and I can't wait to see what she does!) was my wonderful date for the evening and we joined roughly 6,000 others to converge at Concord Pacific in Vancouver to set up an elegant, all white dinner. Seeing what amazing table settings those around us put together - such as the gorgeous work from Monika Hibbs - was inspiring. I'm already planning the table look for next year.

Some may think having to bring literally everything with you, from table to chairs to cutlery, might not be so fun. But honestly, we had a blast and can't wait to do it again. Of course, the entertainer in me loves the excuse to play. It's no surprise to me that I fell in love with Diner en Blanc!
