Hi. I'm Megan.

Within the short period of two-weeks, I uprooted my comfortable Vancouver life and moved to Toronto. Now you find me working in Public Relations for a non-profit supporting young entrepreneurs as I set my sights on building my own creative empire.

In A Sequoia is for those who own being the boss of their life. A source of inspiration for creating intention. Unapologetic vulnerability. Live #thesequoialife.

summers and alleys

I am fascinated with the way this city is built. From the way Toronto has been designed to move people, to the architecture of every neighbourhood, it's been such an adjustment in my eight months here. In particular, I am obsessed with the multitude and variety of street art. It's everywhere, and it's beautiful. Take the above Queen West mural featuring the infamous white squirrel as an example!

So while I was exploring a newer neighbourhood to me, with some incredible alleyway art (and a white home with teal doors that I'm obsessed with), I had to do a quick shoot with my girl Sophie. I just happened to be wearing one of my favourite weekend brunch outfits, featuring a dress (I know, I'm wearing it as a shirt) from M Boutique and a pair of high-waisted, cropped jeans. It was kismet.

If you know of any incredible Toronto art spaces, I'm planning to catch 'em all! Pokemon is still trending, right? But seriously. Let me know your favourite Toronto graffiti spot in the comments below.
